Carmen Harlen and the ISIS Remark
Posted May 13, 2015
So much for free speech. Carmen Harlen was responding to a claim from the Islamic State who said they had soldiers in Michigan. She didn't make this up, she was commenting on their admission. If Progress Michigan, the National Network for Arab American Communities, or any other groups who spoke out against her are not harboring terrorists than they shouldn't be offended by her remark. How about going after the ISIS soldiers instead of a news reporter commenting on our enemies' talk!

FCC and the Internet
Posted April 9, 2015
The FCC has redefined the internet as a telecom service, opening it up to much heavier regulation. This could drastically interfere with freedom of speech over the internet.
Comments/Action Requested:
Jim Tedder, Michigan State Rep for the 43rd district, has called on "Michigan voters to reach out to their congressional representatives and tell them they want the FCC out of their Internet and to take action to promote affordability and greater access so that America can continue to be a leader in broadband technology and economic freedom."
